Annual Meeting Voting

Absentee Voting

Absentee ballots will be available at Boone Electric from June 18 - July 3 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Absentee ballots are identical to ballots given to members at Annual Meeting. Members vote for a Director from each district and for or against any bylaw amendment, if applicable, on the ballot. Members who are unable to attend this year's Annual Meeting and choose to vote by absentee ballot must be listed as a member on the account and provide photo ID prior to receiving a ballot.

Proxy Voting

A cooperative membership is generally held as a single membership. The person in your household considered to be the member is the only one who can vote at annual meeting. If this member will not be attending annual meeting to vote, then they can complete this proxy for another adult relative in the household to vote on their behalf, such as a spouse. A member may vote by proxy executed in writing by the member. A proxy may be filed at or before the time of the annual meeting. A member may give his/her proxy only to an adult relative living in the same house with the member. And no person may hold more than one proxy at any meeting. Proxy vote card located in the July Rural Missouri Extra (image below).
